Earlier this week, there was a fatal head-on DUI crash in the Palmdale area. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened on Wednesday night near Palmdale Boulevard and 80th Street East. Apparently, an eastbound vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic in the westbound lane.  

The wrong-way vehicle struck a westbound vehicle head on. A passenger in the westbound vehicle was rushed to a local hospital for treatment, but they did not survive their injuries. Although very few details have been released about this fatal head-on crash, we do know that the wrong-way driver is facing driving under the influence charges. At the time of the report, this wreck was still under investigation, and anybody with information was being asked to contact local law enforcement officials.
