Earlier this week, there was a fatal and injury-causing crash that took the life of a child in South Los Angeles. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened around 100 E. 111th Place in the Broadway-Manchester neighborhood. Initial reports indicate that there was a sedan, an SUV and another vehicle involved in the crash. A child was killed in the wreck, and a woman and two other children were injured.

The sedan was apparently on fire when first responders arrived on the scene, and that driver fled on foot. At the time of the report, there was no word on the conditions of the other children or of the injured adult. Additionally, no information has been released on whether or not anybody is facing citations or charges, and this wreck could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
