Earlier this week, there was a fatal hit-and-run crash that took the life of a motorcycle rider in Chula Vista. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened on Monday night at about 8:30 p.m. Initial reports indicate that there was a collision involving several motorists, including a motorcyclist on the eastbound side of H Street. Apparently, a white SUV fled the scene after hitting the motorcyclist.  

There were two other vehicles involved in the crash, and those drivers did remain on the scene to cooperate with authorities. Although life-saving measures were attempted, the motorcycle rider did not survive their injuries. This hit-and-run crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
