Man Killed, Children Injured in South San Jose Crash
On Wednesday night in south San Jose, a man was killed and three children were injured in a single-vehicle crash on State Route 85. The collision happened south of Cottle Road around 7:10 pm, according to The Mercury News. The man was driving a 2002 Toyota Sequoia northbound in the fast lane when he swerved into the center median. The vehicle then collided with a metal guardrail before eventually coming to a stop in the fast lane.
The man died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The three young children were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. At the time of the report, the cause of the crash was under investigation.
