On Sunday night, a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries following a collision in Pacific Beach. The incident happened around 6:30 pm at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Kendall Street, according to FOX 5 San Diego. A motorcyclist riding a 2007 Suzuki bike was traveling eastbound on Grand Avenue when he broadsided a 2020 Jeep Cherokee turning southbound at the Kendall Street intersection. The motorcyclist had entered the designated bicycle lane to try and bypass the traffic, and instead collided with the Cherokee as it turned.  

The motorcyclist suffered fractures to his left leg, but the injuries were not considered life-threatening at the time of the report. The Cherokee driver was uninjured.
