Earlier this week, an Amazon delivery woman was attacked by a pit bull in the Highland area. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened on Thursday afternoon, on the 7300 block of Lillian Lane. Initial reports indicate that the delivery person, a 52-year-old woman, went through a gate to deliver a package and was attacked by a pit bull.

The owner came outside and was eventually able to pull the dog off of the woman. She had to be rushed to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of major injuries to her upper body. San Bernardino County Animal Control was called to the scene, and they removed the dog. The woman was reportedly working as a privately sub-contracted delivery driver when she was attacked by the dog. Anybody with information about this dog attack is being asked to contact the Highland Police Station.
