On Sunday morning, several people were injured in a rear-end collision in Sherman Heights. The crash occurred around 1:37 am on 2400 J Street near the intersection of 24th Street, according to FOX 5 San Diego. A 1998 Honda was stopped mid-block facing eastbound when a 2015 BMW traveling eastbound rear-ended the Honda. The Honda then struck two parked vehicles in a chain reaction. 

Five passengers in the BMW sustained various injuries and were taken to the hospital. The BMW driver suffered an open fracture to his left leg. At the time of the report, it was unclear as to why the Honda was stopped in the roadway, stated the Times of San Diego. The damage done to the parked vehicles was also unclear.
