On Tuesday morning in Madera County, a semi-truck crashed into stopped traffic, causing a chain reaction crash on northbound Highway 41. According to Your Central Valley, the semi-truck was approaching stopped traffic at the Avenue 12 stop light when it rear-ended a white Honda Accord. The impact caused the semi-truck to go over the back of the Honda, pushing the Honda into a Volkswagen, which then struck the back of a Nissan. The front of the Nissan collided with a Chevy truck, which crashed forward into a Lexus.

There was no one in the back of the Honda when the semi-truck went over it. The Honda driver sustained a possible concussion. In total, four involved parties suffered minor to moderate injuries and were taken to local hospitals.
