On Tuesday afternoon, several people were hospitalized after a Tesla flipped into oncoming traffic in Buena Park. According to KTLA, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 4:00 pm at the Beach Boulevard and Orangethorpe Avenue intersection. Six vehicles in total were involved, two of which were overturned with its passengers trapped inside. Both victims, one of whom was the Tesla driver, were freed from their vehicles by first responders and taken to the hospital, along with a third victim that was lying nearby. The condition of the victims was unknown.

Footage from the scene showed severe damage to all the involved vehicles. Witnesses reported that the Tesla had been driving at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred. At the time of the report, the cause of the crash remained under investigation.
