On Wednesday evening, a high-speed police pursuit ended in a violent crash in Sherman Oaks. According to KTLA, the incident occurred around 7:30 pm near the intersection of Valleyheart Drive and Greenbush Avenue. A suspect in a stolen four-door sedan was fleeing from police when the car clipped a wall between two homes, causing it to spin out and crash through a front yard. Several pedestrians were forced to quickly move out of the way as the vehicle spun out of control, narrowly missing them.

Footage of the crash showed debris from the vehicle scattered throughout the homeowner’s property. After the car came to a stop, the suspect immediately exited and fled the scene on foot. The suspect was ultimately captured and taken into custody. No injuries were reported.
