Early Monday morning, there were three street racing takeovers in South Los Angeles. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incidents happened between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Monday. Apparently, there were several locations involving cars doing donuts and people hanging out of vehicles while spectators watched and filmed dangerous stunts. There were also fireworks set off at one of the locations.  

The takeovers happened at Western Avenue and Century Boulevard, Normandie and Florence Avenues and Normandie Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard. Vehicles were performing stunts and doing donuts at all three locations. At the time of the news report, there was no word on whether or not any citations or charges were issued. These sideshows and street takeovers may still be under investigation.
