Earlier this week, a pedestrian was fatally struck in a Sun Valley hit-and-run crash. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened on Halloween night. Apparently, a silver vehicle was headed north on Laurel Canyon Boulevard, just north of Strathern Street, when it hit a pedestrian. The driver then fled the scene without stopping to call for help or offer assistance.

First responders rushed to the scene, and they transported the injured pedestrian to a local hospital. That person did not survive their injuries. At this time, law enforcement officials are offering a reward to try to find the hit-and-run driver, and this fatal hit-and-run crash remains under investigation. Anybody with information is being asked to contact the Valley traffic division.
