On Tuesday, a suspected thief crashed a Lamborghini worth $250,000 in La Jolla after being pursued by police. According to NBC San Diego, the 2024 Lamborghini SUV was stolen from a home on Chelsea Street and located by officers near La Jolla Parkway and Via Del Norte. The driver in the Lamborghini did not stop, which led to officers chasing the vehicle down La Jolla Boulevard. Eventually, the suspect crashed the Lamborghini into a white Nissan SUV before hitting several parked cars on La Jolla Hermosa Avenue near Kirkwood Place.  

At least five cars were damaged in the collision, leaving debris scattered throughout the street. One of the Lamborghini’s tires flew into a nearby yard. The Lamborghini driver suffered minor injuries and was taken into custody.
