Over the weekend, a 16-year-old girl was hospitalized after being attacked by a pack of large dogs in the Thousand Oaks area. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened on Sunday afternoon on the 100 block of Manzanita Lane. Initial reports indicate that the teenager was attacked by six dogs. A neighbor who witnessed what was happening called 911, and first responders rushed to the scene. 

The attack was still happening when firefighters arrived. They turned on their sirens and waved their tools in an effort to stop the attack. These dogs reportedly belonged to the teen’s residence, although very few additional details have been released. At the time of the report, there was no word on the girl’s condition or the extent of injuries involved.
