On Monday morning, a teenage boy was pulled from a burning SUV after crashing in front of a gas station in the Miramar Ranch area. According to ABC 10 News, the single-vehicle crash happened around 2:15 am at the Scripps Poway Parkway and Scripps Summit Drive intersection. The teenager was traveling eastbound on 10550 Scripps Poway Parkway when he swerved to the right and hit a light pole. The SUV then caught fire near a Circle K gas station.  

Witnesses pulled the teenager from the wreckage and rendered aid until paramedics arrived. The teen suffered an open fracture to his leg and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
