On Tuesday afternoon, a teenage boy was killed in a motorcycle crash in east central Fresno. The crash occurred around 4:00 pm on Fowler near Tulare Avenue, according to KMPH. The teenage motorcyclist failed to stop at a red light and was struck by a sedan, which caused him to be thrown from his bike. Witnesses and passersby stopped to administer medical aid until emergency personnel arrived. The teenager was then transported to a hospital where he later died.

The intersection was temporarily closed while the incident was investigated. The driver of the sedan remained on scene and cooperated with authorities. At the time of the report, neither drugs nor alcohol were thought to play a role in the crash, stated The Fresno Bee.
