Over the weekend, there were two arrests and 29 citations issued during a sideshow takeover event in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, law enforcement officers learned about the street takeover happening on Saturday night. Several agencies worked together to disrupt the event. During the operation, seven cars were impounded, there were two arrests and 29 citations were issued. 

Stopping sideshow street takeovers has become a priority for law enforcement agencies throughout Southern California. These street takeover events often result in crashes, injuries, violence and property damage. Officials with the San Diego Police Department are asking anybody with information about this incident or any future events to come forward.
