Over the weekend, a vehicle crashed into a power pole in the Colinas Del Sol area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened on Saturday evening at about 6:44 p.m. Initial reports indicate that the vehicle, a pickup truck, struck a power pole on the 4200 block of 49th Street.  

For currently unknown reasons, a 27-year-old driver in a 2006 Nissan Titan struck the power pole. First responders rushed to the scene. The driver, and sole occupant in the truck, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a fractured femur. At the time of the news report, there was no word on how or why the truck hit the power pole. This wreck is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
