On Tuesday morning, a woman was struck and killed by a car in southeast Fresno. According to ABC 30, the incident happened in front of the Mosqueda Community Center around 12:30 am. Witnesses reported that the woman was hit as she was walking in and out of the road. Police arrived to find the woman lying in the street, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.  

The area was closed as police investigated but reopened a few hours later. The driver remained at the scene of the crash and was cooperating with police. At the time of the report, the driver was being investigated to determine the possibility of any alcohol or drug involvement.
