On Wednesday morning in east central Fresno, a woman was taken to the hospital after her car crashed into a tree. According to ABC 30, the crash happened around 6:30 am on Clinton at Ashley, in front of the Yosemite International Airport. For reasons unknown, the woman lost control of her car and ended up colliding with a tree, causing her to be pinned inside the car for several minutes. After being extracted from the vehicle by emergency crews, she was taken to the hospital.

At the time of the report, the woman’s condition was unknown. Traffic was detoured at Westbound Clinton from Gateway to Ashley as authorities investigated the crash.
