Earlier this week, there was a wrong-way crash on the 101 Freeway involving a semi truck. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened in Hollywood on Tuesday night at about 9:30 p.m. Initial reports indicate that there was a southbound driver in the northbound lanes of the Freeway, near the Fountain Avenue overpass, when the collision happened.  

Although very few details have been released about this crash, we do know that a semi truck was involved, and a Sigalert was issued at about 10:00 p.m. A portion of the roadway had to be closed for several hours near Gower Street. At the time of the report, there was no word on whether or not anybody was injured in this crash. This wrong-way crash is likely still under investigation with authorities.
