2 Injured After Car Plunges Down Cliff in Angeles National Forest
On Sunday night, a two-vehicle crash caused a car to fall 40 feet off a cliff in the Angeles National Forest. The collision took place around 11:50 pm at mile marker 24 of San Gabriel Canyon Road, according to KTLA. Video from the scene showed first responders wading through brush on the mountainside to reach the vehicle.
First responders were able to free one of the occupants right away, but the other occupant was trapped and had to be extricated from the car. One was airlifted to a trauma center while the other was taken to a hospital via ground. At the time of the report, their conditions were unknown. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
