On Thursday morning, a pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in San Diego. According to FOX 5 San Diego, the incident occurred around 6:11 am at the Federal Boulevard and Euclid Avenue intersection. A woman was walking northbound in a crosswalk at the same time that an unknown vehicle was traveling westbound on Federal Boulevard. The vehicle made a right turn onto northbound Euclid Avenue and struck the woman before fleeing the scene.   

The impact caused the woman life-threatening injuries, including a fractured pelvis and a brain bleed. At the time of the report, no details about the suspect driver or vehicle were available.
