Me Water Foundation

Me Water Foundation

We are proud to support the MeWater Foundation, a nonprofit run by surfers and mental health professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area, dedicated to empowering youth through the healing power of the ocean and the great outdoors. The avid surfers on our team know the mental and physical benefits of getting out on the water. With a mental health–focused approach that blends mindfulness, empowerment, and exposure to nature, MeWater provides free day and overnight surf camps for youth, families, and community groups.

Healing Through Nature & Connection

MeWater works with young people from backgrounds of poverty, violence, and trauma—offering them a safe, supportive environment to build resilience, learn new coping strategies, and connect with positive role models. For many participants, MeWater is their first experience visiting a local beach. By removing financial, physical, and societal barriers, the organization opens doors to new possibilities and a broader vision of what’s possible in life.

Programs That Foster Growth & Resilience

Throughout the year, MeWater hosts inclusive day and overnight camps designed to reduce social isolation, build self-reliance, and strengthen community connections. These programs give participants the opportunity to develop life skills, practice mindfulness, and gain confidence in a nurturing environment.

Supporting Transition Age Youth (TAY)

A core focus of MeWater is helping Transition Age Youth (ages 16–24) navigate the challenging shift to adulthood. Many TAY participants face significant instability in housing, education, and relationships. MeWater equips them with emotional skills, stress-reduction techniques, and a network of supportive peers and mentors—providing the people, place, and opportunities they need to thrive.

We are honored to partner with the MeWater Foundation in their mission to inspire, support, and empower youth through nature, community, and the transformative power of the ocean.
